Hey everyone,
This is Cheryl, Bill and Bea's oldest daughter. We just got home from a visit to dad. I'd love to say he is doing great and continues to improve - But I Can't! He is so very tired. He was sitting up in a special chair that gives him support. They wanted him up for an hour. At 45 minutes he was counting down to when he could lay again. His breathing is very labored and when holding his hand he could hardly squeeze mine. The doctors are still talking about sending him to U of M in the next day or so. He looks so old and weak. I'm just not used to seeing my daddy like that!
His spirits seem good, although you can tell he is scared of the unknown.
Good news is he has been moved back to the Neuro Science Center on the 5th floor. He is under a close watch but has a little bit of privacy.
Please continue to pray for he and mom. I feel this is going to be a long road to recovery. Thanks for checking out the blog. I'll be sure to get them any comments you post.

Bill,
We are praying for you Bill! Thanks for including us on this update list. May God provide the doctors with insight and wisdom. May God provide you, by his grace, with healing and new strength.
In Christ,
Pastor Tim and Heidi
Bill,Bea and Family; This is cousin Fred. We are here in Dewitt visiting Mom. Marce is here also and we have been talking about your situation and all the unknowns. Please know that we are thinking about you and certainly keeping all of you in all our prayers. I appreciate the updates. I have also forwarded this web address to cousin Pat. Our prayers will continue. God does grant strength.
Kevin and Lois Schreiber from Medina. Ohio are on-line and monitoring.
Bill and Bea are in our thoughts and prayers.
We will be following the progress both on Uncle Bill in recovery and Aunt Bea as she learns about the internet.
This is a 21st century way to keep the family updated.
thank you to Cheryl for getting this going.
THanks for the update. We are all praying and our church prayed for him this AM. I wish there was more that we could do as I'm sure you all feel the same way. Blessing on all of you. Love Aunt Marilyn
Thank you for sending me the blog info. I'm keeping your dad (your mom and all of you, too) in my prayers. If anything comes of the transfer to U of M, and any one needs a place to stay, please let me know. I'm probably about an hour away, but it's closer than Grand Rapids and hopefully more comfortable than a hotel. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Your dad and mom gave me so much help when Mom was sick.
Keeping you all in my prayers,
Pat

Thank you so much for this link. Know that we, as a church and family, are keeping Bea and Bill in our prayers. I will be sure it gets put on the prayer chain and updated in the bulletin, as well as confer with our pastor. God bless…and know that you are in God’s hands…who could ask for more.
